MOOR, MOORABBIN

The simplified architecture embraces quality materials and fundamental principles that emphasise simplicity, well planned spaces and crafted interiors. A connection to the building’s technology and integrated automation is expressed through rounded edges that draw reference from minimalist product design.

SIMONDS CATHOLIC COLLEGE – MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING

Stage Two of the Simonds Catholic College masterplan sees another exciting multi-purpose building proposal presenting an impressive full gymnasium with grandstand, rooftop library, school canteen, staff & admin area, and multiple general learning spaces. Designed to maximise the small site, the building has been designed so that each zone performs optimally and circulation throughout spaces are logical and seamless.

ST KEVIN’S COLLEGE – HEYINGTON RECEPTION

A convergence of functionality and architectural finesse, this contemporary update and expansion to the reception at St Kevin’s College has been seamlessly woven into the existing fabric of the Heyington Campus.  Our design subtly asserts its presence while respecting the established environment and has created an inviting space to welcome staff, students and visitors alike.

SIMONDS CATHOLIC COLLEGE – YEAR 11 & 12 CENTRE

Nestled at the rear of their established West Melbourne campus, Simonds Catholic College seized a unique opportunity by acquiring a three-story tertiary education building. Collaborating closely, Chandler Architecture and Simonds Catholic College embarked on an ambitious journey to re-envision and re purpose this structure into a dedicated Year 11 and 12 facility. The transformed building will house general-purpose classrooms, inviting breakout spaces, cutting-edge specialist science laboratories, and an innovative STEM center, underscoring the commitment to providing a dynamic and forward-thinking educational environment.

ST KEVIN’S COLLEGE – HEYINGTON LIBRARY

A striking new library for the students at St Kevin’s College in Toorak. This project embraces a modern approach to learning characterised by a variety of student-centric spaces. A mix of collaborative learning desks, ottoman seating, reading nooks and private study rooms have all been incorporated into the design providing students with multiple study environment options.

THE HOWEY HOTEL, MELBOURNE

This project is a vertical expansion and internal upgrade for a Melbourne CBD Hotel to provide an additional 38 hotels rooms. The scope includes a new roof terrace, ground floor retails spaces, new lifts, dining facilities and a gymnasium. Three new light weight levels have been designed not to overload the existing foundations. The new levels with offset windows are clad in folded metal panels in a rhythm reminiscent of the original facades art deco period.

MERRICKS HOUSE

In the heart of Victorias’ most desirable Mornington Peninsula, this beautifully crafted holiday home sits hilltop with sweeping uninterrupted views across the scenic Peninsula landscape. With a brief to create a homely countryside escape, the design features a selection of warm timbers and textures to achieve a comforting warmth. Accompanied by large full-height windows throughout, the design embraces a lightness as it welcomes the fresh coastal ocean breeze.

HAMPTON EAST APARTMENTS

Presenting confidently on its’ corner location tucked just off the main road, our King St project is within walking distance to the local shops and Moorabin train station. It houses 140 apartments – a mix of one, two and three bedrooms designed to maximise balcony and outdoor terraces for each apartment.

KEW APARTMENTS

Terraced over the banks of the Yarra River, these luxurious apartments have been designed to maximise the stunning views that the site has to offer.  The design incorporates full height windows that captures the sweeping views over the Yarra park lands a unique perspective to each apartment.
